Come Down With Us

A few months ago I was writing a song for my really good friends as a birthday present for her 15th birthday, and It hink it turned out pretty well so yeah, here it is :)
"Come Down With Us"

Can we pretend it's not real,
Just for one day?
Disguising the way feel,
And dealing with our heartbreak

We're movin through life
And we're barely alive
Trying to stay calm
Trying to stay inside

Waking up from hell
Is our daily fight
How we'll survive is all
We think at night

When we're dying,
And we're bleeding.
When we're crying
And Screaming

Can anyone help us now?
Can anyone hear us now?
Can anyone save us but ourselves?
Can anyone save us but ourselves?

(Chorus)

Cuz now if we go down
We go down together
Don't stop now
Our we'll lose it forever
Will you give up?
No Never ever ever

So Just sign you name right here
Just sign it in your blood
Let them know that you found love
Amongst the broken

And come down with us
Come stand with us
Come down with us
Come fight with us
Come down with us

------

Do you remember what it feels like
To be o so innocent
Well none of us do by this time
You can tell by the things that we invent

When were dying
And Bleeding
Just crying
And screaming

Can anyone help us now?
Can anyone hear us now?
Can anyone save us but ourselves?
Can anyone save us but ourselves?

(Chorus)

Can anyone help us now,
Can anoyne help us but ourselves?
Can anyone hear us now,
Can anyone hear us but ourselves?  (3x)

Can anyone save us now,
Can anyone save us but ourselves
Can anyone save us now
Can anyone save us

Can anyone hear us
Can anyone help us
Can anyone save us
Can anyone save us but ourselves?

No!

(Chorus) 2x

The Black Cat

Last year in my Creative Writing class we went through this unit type thing where we read a whole bunch of short stories and one of the one we read was The Black Cat by Edgar Allen Poe. Thought his short storty may not necessarily be my favorite, it has defintely stuck with me because of it's twisted story line, and immaculate language. The story is pretty much this man recounting the details as to why he murdered his wife and how it happened, and it is very twisted. Well I guess you should just find out for yourselves:

The Black Cat by Edgar Allen Poe

I hope you well, enjoy isn't exactly the word, I guess have a pleasent mind warping expiernece :)
